The Goals of the Preschool Years

2020-10-26 04:48:28/Jenni & Jody

Homeschooling is an extension of parenting, so the moment we are parents, we are also homeschoolers. We all teach our kids that the cow says, “moo” and the dog says, “woof.” It’s really not so different from teaching them the letter “b” says “buh” and the letter “d” says “duh.”

There is a great deal that we can be doing from birth through “kindergarten” that will set our kids up for a successful launch in official homeschooling, and in this episode, Jenni and Jody are sharing some practical and intentional ways to prepare our kids for early academia.

“It’s never too early to begin developing emotional intelligence, and for babies, that looks like starting out by naming what they’re experiencing.”
