After six years of being on radio, the last three of which were syndicated in different parts of the country, we have finally stepped out of the last’s century of communication methods and into this one!

In this inaugural episode of the From Cradle to Calling podcast, we are introducing ourselves and sharing how and why we ourselves came to homeschooling. We talk about two great success stories in our own homeschools. You can actually “meet” these two on our website. Come visit Chase, who asked a very freaked-out mom to be homeschooled nearly twenty years ago, and Sky, who couldn’t sit still in a classroom long enough to learn a whole lot, and find out where these two superstars are now after a very customized homeschool journey.

Throughout the podcast, you’ll feel like a fly on the wall, listening to two best friends have a lively conversation about their journey as homeschool parents, but also as leaders in their own homeschool community, and as great friends doing life together.

And then, we’ll tell you all about what we call the C2C (Cradle to Calling) Homeschool Method. C2C is ultimately a goal driven method. It is homeschooling with the end result in mind. And we believe that there are three general phases.

1. Phase 1 -- Discover Interests
2. Phase 2 -- Develop Passion
3. Phase 3 -- Create Strategy

We’ll explain these phases a little more in the podcast and how they relate the homeschool experience. We’ll also talk about the four Essentials that this method is built upon.

An AWESOME, hands-on, project-based, experiential way for kids to learn about government is through TeenPact. In this podcast episode, we talk about how Chase’s experiences at TeenPact ignited his love of government and politics, helped him overcome a deep fear of public speaking, and set him on his lifelong journey to fulfil God’s calling on his life!

A big part of Chase’s high school journey toward politics included speech and debate. We have been consistently blown away by the hands-on opportunities and drive for excellence that this school offers. They are quite literally educating their students with the end result in mind!
