Jenni Stahlmann and Jody Hagaman, also known as J & J or The J Team, have been working together for more than fifteen years, serving parents and homeschool families across the U.S. They co-hosted a syndicated parenting radio show for six years and wrote a syndicated parenting newspaper column. Together, they help lead a large homeschool support community and co-op in the Sarasota/Bradenton region of Florida, and they write and publish homeschool curriculum. In recent years, The J Team has also stepped into the role of homeschool sherpa, guiding the younger generation of homeschool parents up the mountain of leadership. Their heart’s desire is to pass the torch without dropping it, and they believe it all starts with hearing God’s voice and obeying His leadership.

Jenni and her husband Matthew have seven kids and one grandchild, and they have been homeschooling for twenty-two years. Their oldest is on the autism spectrum and benefited greatly from having been homeschooled. Despite many challenges and significant support needs, he is able to work full-time and spends his free time building a YouTube audience for his movie review channel.
Jenni and Matt also have one child who graduated Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and currently works in government in Nashville, Tennessee, helping to support the artist community there. Two of their boys are Eagle Scouts; one is an entrepreneur and family man in New York, and the other is a music teacher in Florida. Their fifth child is a second-year college student at ministry school, studying worship arts, and Matt and Jenni are still homeschooling two more: one high school freshman, and one in fifth grade.
Jenni was a journalist for many years, covering business for a large Manhattan-based trade publication and writing business columns for a number of newspapers. Her years as a professional writer helped her put together the C2C American English Grammar course, currently available at mrdmath.com.
Jody and her high school sweetheart, Tony, have three grown children and three grandchildren. A homeschool veteran of more than 25 years, Jody Hagaman has seen God do mighty things in her own life and in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and the many families she has mentored over the years.
Jody and Tony’s oldest son is an attorney and is currently the Homeownership Managing Director for the state of New Hampshire. His wife, Meghan, was the Assistant Attorney General for New Hampshire, and is currently running for the Office of Merrimack County Attorney. Jody’s daughters live close to their parents. One is a sought-after event photographer, and the other is helping her husband, pastor of a church in Sarasota, Florida, while running her own social media marketing business.
Jody is currently homeschooling the next generation. Her granddaughter is in fifth grade and is passionate about dance and music. Jody is the president of a large homeschool organization in Florida, and she draws upon the many skills she gleaned from her years as a corrections officer in Illinois.
